You are the expert on your life and know yourself better than anyone else. This makes you the best judge of what is right for you. My role is to guide you toward a place where you no longer need my assistance, helping you address the challenges that brought you to therapy. I am not here to judge but to assist in creating clarity and offering a fresh perspective. Throughout our work together, my goal is to equip you with skills, tools, and new insights that you can apply to your current situation and future challenges.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with 25 years of experience in mental health and 14 years as a therapist. I've worked in Calgary, Victoria, British Columbia, and Dublin, Ireland, supporting children, teens, adults, families, and couples. My experience has shown me how people can bounce back and grow, which I find truly meaningful. I specialize in areas such as ADHD, Autism, emotional regulation, communication issues, and relationship difficulties. I use a variety of approaches, including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and strength-based techniques.
The Arbutus tree symbolizes my practice, chosen for its resilience and ability to thrive in challenging conditions. Just as the Arbutus renews itself by shedding its bark and growing stronger, I aim to help you recognize your own strengths and resilience.
I offer a free 15 to 20-minute phone consultation to discuss your concerns and explain how I work with clients. This call will allow you to determine if we are a good fit. Self-exploration can be difficult, but my role is to help you navigate it in a safe and supportive way.
Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to offering you the support you need.
